Locke and Primal season two is coming — and it's coming this Oct. Netflix bankrupt that news during its Geeked Week stream, and it just appear more than. Along the fashion they also gave us a bunch of photos of the new season, including the higher up shot of uncle Duncan with a key.

Locke and Key fans accept been waiting a long time for this news. Netflix appear it was renewing the serial for its second season back on March 30, 2020. The tweet breaking the news stated "more keys, more demons, more aloha," before inserting a middle finger emoji and stating "Locke & Key is officially returning for season 2!!"

Today (Sept. xiv), Netflix appear that Locke and Primal season 2 debuts on October 22, 2021. It also released the below teaser:

Locke and Key is one of Netflix'southward many YA-targeted supernatural serial' focusing on the Locke siblings (Tyler, Kinsey and Bode) who move into Keyhouse (their family's ancestral home) with their female parent Nina afterwards their begetter's mysterious murder. A demon named Dodge is the chief villain for the show, and manipulates the family through the keys that play a cardinal function to the show.

While the family unit believed they defeated Dodge at the end of flavour 1, the demon was even so active as Gabe, one Locke sibling Kinsey'south honey interests.

Darby Stanchfield (Nina Locke) announced the of the season wrapping production on her Instagram on April sixteen.

Casting news has been simple: Deadline reported that Aaron Ashmore and Hallea Jones have been upgraded to series regulars. Brendan Hines is joining the cast too.
